Bespoke vehicle for Britain’s oldest farm shop

We were delighted to help renowned family business, Hinchliffe’s Farm Shop in Honley, West Yorkshire, with a vehicle for their farm shop deliveries.

The VW Crafter Commerce TDI has been converted to provide refrigeration and wrapped with a distinctive image that reflects Hinchliffe’s heritage and branding.

At almost 100 years old, Hinchliffe’s was established in 1929 by Allen Hinchliffe, who started out with a farm at Pole Moor.  Allen and his wife Betsy would deliver eggs by horse and cart, later opening a butchers shop in Huddersfield.  In 1974 Britain’s first ever farm shop was opened and since then it’s award-winning top quality meat, sausages and pork pies have continued to draw customers from across the area.

The new vehicle is on a long-term lease and will help support the farm’s wholesale customers with deliveries to shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and home delivery service to our retail customers homes – keeping produce from the shop and butchers in tip top condition.

Vehicle wrap by WRPD Group and bespoke refrigeration unit from Refrigerate Vehicles Northern.
